Jonathan Hood (born December 23, 1985 in Mississauga, Ontario) is a professional Canadian football defensive back for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League. He was drafted 26th overall by the Edmonton Eskimos in the 2008 CFL Draft,[1] but failed to stick with the team after spending seven weeks on the practice roster.[2] He played high school football in Mississauga for the Father Michael Goetz Gators[3], and played college football for the St. Francis Xavier X-Men and the Western Ontario Mustangs.[4] He was signed by the Tiger-Cats on May 28, 2010.[5]
